Frankenhuis

Frankenhuis Textielrecycling, part of Boer Group, mechanically recycles 600,000 kilograms of post-consumer textiles monthly, contributing to a circular textile economy. Originally a cotton rag factory, it has evolved into one of Europe's leading mechanical textile recycling companies, specializing in post-consumer textile processing. Their team possesses extensive expertise in innovative recycling processes, focusing on research and development to enhance and optimize textile recycling. Founded by Salomon Frankenhuis, the company expanded under his son, Heiman, into international markets with a history of reinvestment and expansion. Despite facing bankruptcy, it re-emerged by joining forces with VAR and focusing on raw material recovery, relocating to a larger facility in Almelo with new investor support from Boer Group. Today, Frankenhuis provides high-quality fiber and various services as a Circular Textile Solution Provider, certified under GRS, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, Textile Recovery VHT, and Texperium's TÜV standards, ensuring environmental sustainability and quality management in their operations.
