The Department for the Sustainable Development and Ecological Transition at Università del Piemonte Orientale supports the development and optimisation of sustainable, safe and renewable textiles. Their expertise lies in chemical and biotechnological procedures for the preparation, improvement and end-of-life management of natural, artificial and synthetic fibres. Services include chemical procedure development, testing and characterisation, as well as life cycle assessment (LCA). The department contributes to more circular and green processes in textile production, use and disposal.
